Assistant Project Superintendent (Commercial Construction)

Nations Roof is seeking an Assistant Project Superintendentto join our team.

This position reports to the Fresno, CA location and will be 100% in office with a Monday-Friday schedule 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.

Nations Roof is one of the largest commercial roofing contractors ranked in the Top 5 Roofing Contractors in the US. Our projects range in scope from large scale new Commercial Construction, industrial, hospitality, distribution centers, retail centers, office buildings, multifamily, residential, and green roofs to large renovations of existing buildings.

Responsibilities:

• Preparation of multiple project schedules
• Assist with scheduling of all field installations and services
• Review the project plans and specifications and comment on the design, scheduling, possible cost savings measures and potential construction problems
• Submittals (Submittal Tracking)
• Change Orders (Change Order Tracking)
• Quantity takeoffs
• Production tracking
• Assist Project Manager(s)/ Superintendent(s)
• Spec and project reviews
• Site visits
• Assist foreman with info they need
• Project software updates
• Ensure all required inspections are performed
• Prepare and expedite project deficiency lists
• Excellent verbal and written communication required
• Office Construction Background (Preferred, not required)

Skills/Qualifications:

• High School degree or equivalent required
• Associates or Bachelor’s preferred
• Commercial Construction experience (commercial roofing experience a plus)
• Prior experience with a professional organization with a proven track record of accountability, professionalism and organizational skills preferred.
• Self-motivated and proactive – takes initiative and seeks responsibility.
• Software proficiency – able to adapt to and learn how to use specific software systems
• Must have exceptional computer skills including Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook
• Stable work history
• Must be team orientated and be willing to perform based on the company’s Core Values
