Job Description
Assistant Project Manager
This position is a unique opportunity for Assistant Project Managers to work in the architectural metals industry. The successful candidate will strategize and implement creative solutions to construction challenges with a diversified support team. Our customers have the projects and ideas, we execute and bring them to life.
Johnson Metal Works is an established custom metal fabrication company which is seeking a full-time, entry- to mid-level Assistant Project Manager. We design and fabricate OEM, structural, and custom architectural metalwork. We provide in-house laser-cutting, a 250-ton sheet metal brake, welding, and finishing. Our project pace is fast, our growth is steady, and our fabrication products are top-notch. We strive to achieve an even balance of serving our external customers (manufacturing clients/OEM, architects, general contractors, etc.) while also serving our internal customers (pre-fab and fabrication crews).
Assistant PM’s at JMW are responsible for gathering information, identifying requirements, and relaying pertinent information to the team. They focus on optimizing coordination between the JMW team and clients, as well as the field and office sides of JMW.
