Occupational Summary:
This position is a tenure track faculty position within the Biology department. Teaching responsibilities include neuroscience courses that support our Master program in Biomedical Science as well as undergraduate biology courses for pre-medical and other pre-health professional students. The teaching load is 24 full-time undergraduate credit hour equivalents per year (based on the load hour conversion model in the Faculty Handbook) or 18 graduate credit hour equivalents. Faculty members also advise and mentor students and serve on university committees. Development of an undergraduate research program is strongly encouraged.
Position to start August 2024. 9-month contract with benefits starting after first 30 days. Tuition waiver for faculty member, spouse and eligible dependents after one year of employment.

Required Qualifications/Education/Experience/Skills/Training:
- Legally authorized to work in the United States of America.
- PhD in Neuroscience, Biology, or a closely-related field.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Undergraduate and/or graduate teaching experience with preference to graduate teaching experience.
