The Woodward Assistant Photographer role is geared toward intern and student level photographers looking to gain experience and learn from some of the best photo crews in the industry! The Assistant Photographer will be part of the Woodward Camps Marketing Team and gain experience understanding and executing against marketing deliverables. The duties of the Assistant Photographer include, but are not limited to, capturing content for recreational activities, photo packages, and providing support for sport content lists.
It is critical that the photographer is not only successful in capturing content, but also comfortable with children. Shooting and editing for a broad range of projects, this person must be motivated to capture all aspects of the Woodward experience. The role is highly collaborative and strong communication skills are essential in building momentum around Summer Camp 2023.

Requirements
ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage time effectively in order to capture all necessary items on Woodward's summer shot list
- Work closely with the Marketing Team to support the content plan and capture all of the various content needs
- Identify "in the moment" opportunities
- Highly organized delivery within the photo management system - properly tag, categorize, and store all digital assets
- Report back to Lead Photographers on project timeframes and priorities
- Work collaboratively with others to execute multiple projects at once
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE/SPECIAL SKILLS
- 1+ years of experience in related field
- Working towards college degree or equivalent experience preferred
- Expert in working on Apple computers
- Working knowledge of social media and video hosting sites
- Experience working with a team to achieve a final goal
- Health and Safety Certifications
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Suite, comfortable presenting and deploying new technologies
- Ability to project manage and prioritize multiple tasks at the same time
- Demonstrate broad technical knowledge ofmanagement techniques
BASIC SCHEDULE/REQUIREMENTS
- Physical Capabilities: bend, twist, push, pull, stand, lift 50lbs.
- Adhere to all workplace safety practices, expectations,and guidelines
- Must be comfortable working in an indoor and outdoor all-season environment.
- Ability to work weekends, holidays, and evenings.
- Camp Attendance Requirements
- Pre-Camp
- Summer Camp Season (June 5th- August 27th)
- Post Camp
- Ability to work weekends, holidays, and evenings.
- As a requirement of this position, pre-hire criminal history clearances are collected from the Pennsylvania State Police (PATCH) system, child abuse clearances are obtained through the Department of Public Welfare, and federal history is taken through FBI fingerprint screening.
