We are a family owned and operated sweet shop by the Pike Place Market that has been in business in the same location for 24 years. We are creating an exciting and new menu including Pastries, Cakes, Pies, Cookies, Brownies, and other delightful treats to compliment our other products and retail offerings. This is a dynamic position where hard work and fun with staff and customers makes the day fly by.

We are looking for a Pastry Assistant to work with our Pastry Chef to help create our menu and produce consistent high quality baked goods.

This is a specialty food service / retail business. Candidates with a history of success in this type of work will thrive here. Sweeping, mopping, stocking, cleaning as you go, washing dishes, merchandising and creating the best customer experience possible are all a part of the job. This kitchen is on display for the world to see and your best efforts will be noticed. We pride ourselves on our hard working and professional culture.

We prefer candidates that have 2-3 years of experience or equivalent education with pastries. Other disciplines like confections, chocolate or baking may be considered.

Compensation

40 Hrs/week $22-25/hr to start + Medical + Tips (average $2-$3/HR).

Friday - Tuesday 5 am - 1:30 PM
