To maintain the nursing staff in all areas as well as to deliver safe efficient age specific nursing care to patient/families. Essential duties include: Routinely provide patient care. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team.
Maintains employee records. Identifies needs for and provides Staff education/staff development. Participates in Discharge planning, community resource referrals and education.
Committee involvement, participate with quality improvement initiatives. Oversees daily operations of unit/area in a cost effective manner. Involved in Community outreach activities as pertinent Initiates and maintains positive relationships with patients/customers and co-workers.
Takes responsibility for self-development and supports a learning environment. Displays commitment to the mission and values of the organization.Associates Degree in Nursing, ADN RN - Registered Nurse BSN or MN req w/in 2 yrs. Cert in specialty clinical area or leadership w/in 2 yrs.
BLS. ALS & PALS may be required per area. 1-2 yrs clinical exp.
