Assistant Meat Cutter

```Duties```
- Cut, trim, and prepare various types of meat products according to customer specifications
- Package and label meat products for display and sale
- Ensure proper handling and storage of meat products to maintain freshness and quality
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, following food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with their meat selection and answering any questions they may have

```Requirements```
- Previous experience as a Meat Cutter or similar role in the food industry
- Strong knowledge of meat cutting techniques and different cuts of meat
- Ability to use and maintain sharp knives and other cutting tools safely
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and practices
- Excellent attention to detail to ensure accurate portioning and packaging of meat products
- Strong customer service skills to interact with customers in a friendly and helpful manner

Assistant Meat Cutter

• The objective of your position is to satisfy our customers by providing exceptional customer service that they have come to expect from Sperry's in a safe and clean environment to ensure their satisfaction and return.

Responsibilities:

• Use band saw, knives, slicers, grinders and other tools to cut, trim, and prepare meat products for retail grocery display.
• Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure the quality and safety of meat products
• Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with their meat selection and answering any questions they may have
• Package and label meat products for display and sale
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Focus on quality and attention to detail
• This position requires someone who has great attention to detail, is goal driven, has high pride in their work and ability to work in a very chilly environment (48-52 degrees)

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
