Assistant Manager - The Public Kitchen & Bar

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Manager to join our team at The Public Kitchen & Bar.

As an Assistant Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the overall operations of the restaurant and ensuring exceptional customer service.

Duties but not limited to:

- Overseeing daily operations, including opening and closing procedures
- Supervise and train staff members to provide excellent customer service
- Manage shifts according to the General Manager's requirements

-Handling tasks assigned by the General Manager and completing in a timely manner
- Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to achieve sales targets for our servers and bartenders
- Assist in recruiting, interviewing, and hiring new team members
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to staff
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and escalations in a professional manner
- Maintain restaurant cleanliness and hold other team members accountable for cleanliness
- Collaborate with the General Manager and ownership to develop and implement policies and procedures

- Previous experience in busy restaurant environment required
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
