Assistant Manager, Quality Control (New Car) Bilingual Korean/English

Overview:

The Quality ControlAssistant Manager (Bilingual, English/Korean) will be responsible for ensuring the quality of the company's products and that processes meet the required standards. The ideal candidate should have experience in the automotive industry and a strong understanding of Quality Control procedures and standards. This role will work for MOBIS Alabama, LLC. Savannah Plant.

Responsibilities:

(To perform within this position successfully, the incumbent must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned.)

• Develop and implement Quality Control procedures and processes for the company's automotive parts products
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to improve product quality and reduce defects
• Manage and maintain Quality Control documentation, including inspection reports, process flow charts, and Quality Control plans
• Work closely with production and engineering teams to identify and address quality issues and ensure compliance with industry standards
• Coordinate with suppliers and customers to resolve quality issues and implement improvements
• Conduct audits of the company's Quality Control system and processes to ensure compliance with internal and external quality standards and regulations
• Reviews product design for compliance with company standards, customer contract requirements, and related specifications
• Train and educate staff on Quality Control procedures, standards, and best practices
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and suppliers to ensure that quality issues are identified and resolved promptly
• Understand the HMGMA assembly process related to MAL-SV Module processes in Just In Sequence
• Complies with and promotes safety in the workplace
• All other duties as assigned

Supervisory Responsibilities:

Qualifications:

Required Education & Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree in Human Engineering, Quality Management, or related field
• Over 5 years of hands-on experience as a Quality Engineer in Automotive industry

Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

• Must be fluent in Korean and English, written and spoken languages
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a focus on continuous improvement

Preferred Education & Experience:

• Working knowledge of Six Sigma Black/Green Belt
• Working experience with Hyundai / Kia / Mobis

Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations:

• Domestic / International travel required

Working Conditions: Office and production line, some walking and standing within and between buildings
