Position Overview:
We are searching for an enthusiastic Assistant Manager who is passionate about delivering outstanding customer service and ensuring smooth restaurant operations. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a comprehensive understanding of food service and safety protocols. This position offers 20-40 hours per week and is seasonal, running from April to September.

Responsibilities:

• Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, concerns, and feedback promptly and professionally.
• Assist in overseeing daily restaurant operations, including but not limited to, staffing, scheduling, and inventory management.
• Ensure compliance with food handling, safety, and sanitation standards to maintain a clean and hygienic environment.
• Supervise and train staff members to uphold quality service standards and enhance overall team performance.
• Collaborate with management to develop strategies for improving efficiency, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
• Maintain accurate records of sales, expenses, and inventory levels to support financial management efforts.
• Address any issues or conflicts that may arise during shifts, resolving them efficiently and effectively.
• Uphold company policies and procedures, ensuring adherence to relevant regulations and guidelines.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in restaurant management or a similar role is required.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a customer-focused mindset.
• Knowledge of food service operations, including food handling, safety, and sanitation practices.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Must have reliable transportation for commuting to and from work.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
