Responsibilities:
- Assist the manager in overseeing daily operations of the business
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain a positive customer experience
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism and resolve issues promptly
- Train and develop new employees on company policies, procedures, and customer service standards
- Supervise and delegate tasks to team members to ensure efficient workflow
- Maintain inventory control and assist with ordering and restocking merchandise
- Perform administrative duties such as scheduling, payroll, and record keeping
- Conduct recruiting and hiring processes to build a strong team
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a retail or customer service role is preferred
- Strong phone etiquette skills to handle customer inquiries and provide assistance
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Proficiency in operating a cash register and handling financial transactions accurately
- Ability to supervise and motivate a team towards achieving goals
- Knowledge of training and development techniques to onboard new employees effectively
- Familiarity with inventory control procedures to monitor stock levels and prevent shortages
