Job Description
- Implementing and adhering to action plans that drive the financial success of the store.
- Responsible for all aspects of store operations to include but not limited to: cash accountability, sanitation & safety, store security, customer service, employee relations, inventory and purchasing, shrink awareness, accurate pricing, visual directive execution (store signage and merchandising) and building and equipment maintenance.
- Grow a strong network of relationships with customers, clients, venue managers, suppliers, & organizations throughout the local area.
- Responsible for talent management, retention of store personnel through effective scheduling, training, coaching, and supervision.
- Assist all customers while on retail sales floor maintaining our “Customer First” policy.
- Collaborate in the development, implementation, and monitoring of your team and implementing action plans for employee growth, support, and improvement.
- Provide a safe and professional environment with relation to fellow team members, other store members, and customers.
- Support and implement programs, plans, and procedures as developed by the corporate office.
- Proven track record of being an agent of change with focus on improved productivity levels in efficiency by improving processes and systems.
- Assist in Inventory Control activities, including cycle counting and physical inventory.
- Perform duties that ensure cleanliness of workspaces and retail sales floor and adhere to workplace safety and cleanliness policies.
- Performs additional tasks and special projects as assigned by Coasters corporate.
Expectations:
- Extremely organized, detail oriented, high energy, and able to prioritize tasks.
- 3+ years experience with experience managing a team in a retail setting. Liquor store experience a plus.
- A proven track record of success in driving store profitability, success, and hitting numeric goals and KPIs.
- Ability to manage and lead a team of 4+ people.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment, and be excited by challenges and troubleshooting.
- Excellent administrative, organizational, verbal and written communication skills.
- Warehouse experience preferred but not required.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds, move (push and pull) boxes, and stand for long periods of time.
- Availability to work weekends including Fridays.
- Full time employees must work 40 hours a week.
- Warehouse experience preferred but not required.
- Have sufficient visual ability to check ID cards, checks, invoices, and other written documents.
- Previous experience with MS Office, shipping software, warehouse management technology, and handheld devices preferred.
- Communicate with HQ partners using e-mail, Slack, Teams, and other computer applications.
- Must be 18+.
