Top Ten Liquors is hiring an Assistant Manager for our Cottage Grove location. We are looking for a results driven assistant store manager who will be able to enhance customer satisfaction and help create a positive work environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist with store management – employees, inventory, hiring, resolving complaints, vendor relations, safety and security, and scheduling
- Ensure an outstanding customer experience and drive sales by welcoming guests, sharing product knowledge, providing recommendations, and carrying out product for guests
- Establish long-term relationships with regular guests by remembering names and favorite product
- Create a positive work environment where employees are engaged, motivated, and inspired
- Encourage employee development by promoting use of Top Ten’s professional development payback program
- Maintain excellent relationships with customers, vendors, and merchandisers
- Assist in store administration and ensure compliance with Top Ten’s policies and procedures
- Support visual directives from marketing, check in product from vendors, fill shelves and move merchandise as necessary, and oversee inventory processes
- Meet Top Ten’s store standards by maintaining a clean and safe store
- Provide Top Ten with daily sales, store updates, customer requests, and report on unresolved issues
- Comply with all laws and regulations regarding the sale of alcohol
- Propose innovative ideas to increase market share
- Additional duties as needed
Requirements
- Candidate must have 2+ years experience in a fast-paced retail store
- Candidate must be at least 21 years old
- Candidate must be willing to work nights, weekends, and holidays
- Candidate must be able to lift 50+ lbs
