Position Summary:
Assistant Manager exists to effectively manage and coordinate the underwriting, processing, funding, and operational functions of the lending team, to ensure exceptional member service experiences while adhering to all compliance and regulatory requirements.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
No direct reports
Work Location:
- Flexible to work from home after training has progressed accordingly.
- Must be available to train onsite in a professional office environment.
- Must be local to Pottstown, PA.
Essential Functions:
- Act as Team Leader, supporting and directing activities in underwriting, mortgage processing, consumer funding, and loan servicing.
- Assist with the development and execution of the Action Plan to support and contribute to the achievement of the Credit Union’s overall strategic goals.
- Coach and motivate the Lending Team to exceptional performance, and to enhance their individual development in product knowledge and service skills.
- Assist in the oversight of processing, disbursement and funding of mortgage loans, home equity loans and consumer loans received from all lending channels.
- Serve as a credit union senior loan officer.

- Ability to travel between branches.
Education / Experience:
- Associate degree in business administration, related discipline, or equivalent experience.
- Two plus years of mortgage lending, consumer lending, and underwriting experience.
- One year of management experience preferred.
