Assistant Manager, Ecommerce Site Experience Merchandising

Purpose: Working within the Digital Experience Optimization team, you’ll play a vital role to drive & execute our adidas digital merchandising experience. This involves executing changes to merchandising components across our site, including but not limited to, navigation, filters, search, sorting, and product recommendation containers. This role will also support optimizing existing tools and processes to gain efficiencies with the way we work.

We are looking for a detail-oriented, data and consumer driven, team player. The candidate should have a sense of how digital merchandising can impact consumer behaviour, understanding what factors will drive interaction and conversion. Attention to detail is extremely important as all experiences, data, and configurations made will be visible to our consumer. Working efficiently and collaboratively, while maintaining accuracy is also key.

Our goal is to help consumers navigate through our digital experience to find the perfect product for their sport and lifestyle needs, and to showcase our products in the best way possible to not only meet their expectations, but to exceed them.
 

Key Accountabilities:

• Support managing and executing changes to site merchandising components on adidas.com and adidas APP for NAM market (US/CA).
• Collaborate with A/B testing and Personalization teams to identify and implement optimizations to site merchandising components.
• Collaborate with Analytics team to evaluate and monitor performance of site merchandising components and build reporting to inform with key cross-functional partners.
• Work in an organized and structured manner to deliver key initiatives, while managing ad-hoc requests in the day-to-day.
• Support optimization of existing tools and processes to drive efficiency gains.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities:

• Digital Merchandising experience
• Data driven mindset

• Problem solving and analytical skills
• Proficiency in MS Excel & PowerPoint
• Experience with Fredhopper or similar merchandising tool (Preferred but not required)
• Experience with Adobe Analytics (Preferred but not required)
• Fluent English

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of relevant experience in e-commerce
• BA / BS in Merchandising, Marketing, IT, Business, or related field
