Assistant Manager- Daytime Hours!

We are seeking out a Restaurant Team Leader/Manager to help support the business owner in our rapidly growing business. We are a family owned and operated business who believes in putting others first and putting our best foot forward in order to bring a delicious product to the Kansas City market. A manager in this role will gain full knowledge of concept and brand standards in order to maintain our safe, fun, and clean work environment in a manner consistent with our core values and operational goals. The right person is able to take direction and lead the team to provide our customers with a successful dining experience at The Hungry Hatch! Daytime hours, typically 9:30am-4:30pm or 10:00am-6:00pm. Small team, great opportunity for those looking to grow in their leadership!

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

Restaurant

• Maintain store sales growth goals set by store owner
• Overseeing the proper handling, maintenance, and storage of all items
• Maintaining cleanliness and safety standards
• Preps, cooks, and assembles menu items following our delicious Hatch recipies with excellence and consistency
• Ensuring food quality in prepping, cooking, and assembly and following kitchen & safe food handling procedures
• Monitoring food waste and inventory levels, and resolving food quality issues
• Ensuring the restaurant is set up for success with accurate pars, yummy stocked stations, and a motivated crew!

Team

• Assist in interviewing and hiring amazing crew members
• Providing training to new staff and ongoing training and development to current staff
• Directing productivity to monitor and maintain efficient and effective food item ticket times
• Enforcing compliance with all employment policies
• Responsible for accountability using Coaching Feedback Forms and doing performance reviews

About The Hungry Hatch

The owner and her daughter started the Hungry Hatch Food Truck in 2019, just four short years ago! Their dream was to offer something that people could feel good eating at any event. Since then, the Hungry Hatch has participated in The Parlor KC, served at the NFL Draft, and done hundreds of amazing events, serving people from all walks of life. It has even expanded into it's own restaurant location in the beautiful City Market downtown!
