Location Description: Post Consumer Brands corporate headquarters in Lakeville, Minn. is about 20 miles south of Minneapolis and St. Paul, Lakeville has all the benefits of smaller town living with access to everything a large metropolitan area has to offer. Responsibilities: This role is a key contributor to developing sales strategies, communicating key brand initiatives, and driving in-market execution for businesses in the Pet portfolio. The Assistant Manager will partner with cross-functional teams working closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Project Management, Demand, and Supply Planning to provide inputs to help drive strategic decision making across our businesses.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Translate national brand strategies, marketing plans, and insights into sales strategies by key customers and channels.
- Provide support for new item launches and associated GTMS and SKU optimizations.
- Influences the development of Long Range and Annual Operating Plans (quota, trade, situation assessments) from a Category, Customer, Channel, and competitive lens
- Contribute to the creation of channel specific sales fundamental objectives to achieve priorities and sales controllable objectives: distribution, pricing, shelving, merchandising, and new items.
- Assist in the development of national sales presentations and tools that are rich in category and shopper insights that help Field Sales execute the initiatives in the marketplace with excellence.
- Communicate key Category, Customer, and Competitive insights into volume forecast.
- Assist in the development of trade promotion strategies, trade merchandising plans, and major trade initiatives.
- Assist in the creation of materials for National Sales Meetings and Sales webcasts.
- Lead the development of displays and seasonal execution across the Pet portfolio.
Qualifications:
SELECTION CRITERIA
Education
- BA/BS degree required.
Experience
- At least 5 years of CPG company experience; preferably brand marketing, customer marketing, or cross-functional experience is preferred.
