Assistant Manager
Duties:
- Assist the store manager in daily operations and management of the retail store
- Oversee and manage inventory control processes, including receiving, stocking, and ordering merchandise
- Provide exceptional customer service and resolve customer complaints or issues
- supervise sales associates, ensuring they meet sales targets and deliver excellent customer service
- Assist in creating work schedules and assigning tasks to staff members
- Collaborate with the store manager to develop and implement strategies to increase sales and meet business goals
- Monitor and analyze sales data to identify trends and make recommendations for improvement
- Handle cash transactions, including opening and closing registers, counting cash, and making bank deposits
Skills:
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor
- Retail management experience with knowledge of sales techniques and strategies
- Ability to effectively communicate with customers,and staff members
- Proficient in inventory control processes and procedures
- Ability to lead a team and provide guidance to staff members
