Company Description:
MGR Property Management is a large management company in Southern California managing HOAs, residential, and commercial properties. MGR is a family owned and operated business since 1983 with a strong and diverse team reaching from Barstow to San Diego.
We are currently looking to add an Assistant Manager to our HOA division in the Carlsbad office. The ideal candidate would be organized, work well with a team and independently, and have a strong desire to provide excellent customer service to our clients.
Job Roles and Duties:
The Assistant Manager is responsible for assisting with the daily needs and operations of the Community Managers' portfolio. This may include, but is not limited :
- Complete work orders and confer with the appropriate vendors to ensure adequate project completion
- Create violation reports and letters for homeowners to ensure compliance with their community's governing documents
- Communicate directly with homeowners on questions relating to their property, community, or general needs to be addressed
- Review service requests and architectural requests with supporting documents for completion and correspond with homeowners on any outstanding items for appropriate completion of the request
- Send mass emails, notices, letters, etc. to inform the community on items pertinent to everyone such as utility shut-offs, road closures, board meetings, etc.
- Maintain thorough and accurate data input in the company software to ensure simple tracking of reports, inspections, correspondence, etc.
- Attend a property inspection if the respective Community Manager is absent or unexpectedly unable to do so
- Troubleshoot tenant and ownership questions on their portals to ensure their access to reports, financials, payment options, etc.
- Draft newsletters, notifications, BOD packets, etc. to ensure that the BOD and homeowners have effective communication on the happenings of their community
- Correspond directly with homeowners, vendors, etc. to answer questions and provide quality service
- Report to Community Managers on any updates or progress on pending/outstanding items
- Other items as needed for the successful management of the portfolio of properties
Requirements:
- Ability to drive and complete inspections of properties, if needed
- Strong communication skills to communicate between vendors, membership, and property management team
- Strong organizational skills and computer literacy
- Ability to work in the Carlsbad office
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
