We are a fast-growing Mobile Grooming Company in Central Florida, and we are looking for our Assistant Manager to monitor our dispatcher Team, do regular basic maintenance on vans, support our groomer Team when needed out in the field and coordinate van issues with the dispatcher Team.
The Assistant Manager is critical to keeping our fleet on the road and avoiding any interruptions in order to guarantee service to our customers, and you will work closely with the owner. You will spend most of your time on the road. Our fleet consists of 14 fully customized Mercedes Sprinter High Roof 2500 Diesel vans, years 2008-2023, spread over Lakes, Seminole, Volusia, Flagler counties.
Core Responsibilities Assistant Manager:
- Performing regular maintenance on grooming equipment and vans, addressing cosmetics and cleanliness
- Performing basic repairs and routine upkeep on grooming equipment (electricity, plumbing, water pumps, filters, grooming tools…)
- Performing regular cleaning (salon area, cabin, electronics area)
- Performing groomer’s assistance and respond to emergency van issues, coordinate/perform repairs (by phone and/or on site), switch vehicles in a timely manner.
- Restocking supplies regularly in all vans
- Ensure transfers of vans to the dealership in Daytona Beach (service, breakdowns).
- Assist and supervise new employees to familiarize themselves with company vehicles and rules
- Monitor and supervise the dispatch team remotely, control and verify employee planning
- The scope of this role may grow over time with more responsibilities or a position of Assistant Manager.
Most of the work must be done when the vans are not in operation (after hours, weekends, or van day off). Your flexibility is crucial for this role.
Job Type: Full time, 8am-4pm Monday to Friday, flexible schedule, expect after hours and weekend work according to events
Salary: $20 per hour
Benefits: 2 weeks paid time off per year, company car, gas, computer and phone provided.
Training-Tools – if you don’t know how to repair the grooming equipment or even water pumps, we will teach you – Tools and equipment provided.
License/Certification: Driver's License (Required) with clean driving records
Work Location : Multiple locations (Altamonte Springs, Lake Mary, Sanford, Mount Dora, Eustis, Deltona, Deland, Daytona Beach, Port Orange, NSB, Ormond Beach, Palm Coast, etc)

Ideal Candidate may have skills or experience in any of the following fields:
Good handyman, good cleaner, RV technician, AC/DC electrical repairs, Diagnosing issues, Plumbing repairs, good employee manager, good communication.
But also ; Must be organized, able to take initiatives and find solutions, know priorities, able to work in an emergency, high availability, positive and “can do” attitude, and very flexible on schedule depending on vans issues.
