SalaryWe are looking for a motivated individual to join our team. Job responsibilities would include:
-Opening and closing duties.
-Building sales and creating and enjoyable experience.
-Meet sales goals by training, motivating, mentoring, and providing feedback to sales staff.
-Work with staff and customers to look for sales opportunities.
-Ensures excellence in guest satisfaction through effective training of staff, commitment to a positive attitude and a lead by example management style.
-Strive for and expect small improvements by your staff, small improvements add up to big changes.
-Maintain in-depth knowledge of products and utilize technological tools at hand.
-Practice practical and proactive thinking and empower your staff to do the same.
-Observe and address areas where additional training may be needed, seek out vendor product knowledge events and work with other members of the team to bring up the collective.
-Interviewing, hiring, discipline/praise and firing with support of Mortimer Management team.
-Proper Scheduling of staff to ensure adequate coverage in all areas of the store.
-Keep staff engaged and use time efficiently to maintain the store.
-Conduct personnel performance appraisals to assess training needs and build career paths with guidance of Sr. management.
-Participate in developing and implementing operational rules, regulations, policies, and best practices.
-Monitor and approve all cash returns and ensure charge returns are written up correctly.
-Maintain store condition and visual merchandising standards.
-Product placement and product accountability.
-Maintain price changes as directed by purchasing.
-Conduct a physical inventory at least yearly or as directed by Operations.
-Provide a safe and clean exterior, keep walkways and parking lots free of snow, litter, etc. report any concerns to Operations.
-Any other duties assigned by Management or Ownership.
As well as many other day-to-day responsibilites.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
