Assistant Manager

Job Summary:
We are seeking an Assistant Manager to join our team. As an Assistant Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the store manager in daily operations and ensuring exceptional customer service. This is a great opportunity for individuals with strong leadership skills and a passion for retail.

Responsibilities:
- Assist the store manager in overseeing all aspects of store operations
- Provide excellent customer service and address customer inquiries and concerns
- Train and develop team members on product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer service
- Assist in creating and implementing strategies to drive sales and meet targets
- Manage inventory levels and ensure proper merchandising of products
- Handle cash handling procedures, including opening and closing registers
- Monitor employee performance and provide feedback for improvement
- Collaborate with the store manager to create schedules and manage shift rotations
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a retail environment is preferred
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in retail math, including sales, pricing, and inventory management
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately
- Multilingual skills are a plus
- Knowledge of training development techniques is an asset
