Restaurant AssistantManager SUMMARY OF POSITION: As an Assistant Manager, you will achievesales growth and maintain company standards of excellence for yourassigned shift by managing the flow of food service activity, assigning tasks, overseeingcash control and focusing on providing the highest quality food withthe best hospitality service possible. You will also play a key rolein training your Team Members under the direction of the General Manager,providing support to the General Manager, assist in running overalloperations, while developing and retaining Team Members. ESSENTIALDUTIES: Supervising TeamMembers and Shift Leaders and maintaining the highest standards in quality,service and cleanliness with a constant focus on profitability.

Coordinating stafftraining with team trainers. Maintain acooperative, harmonious working relationship with management and fellow TeamMembers. Handling HR issuesas they arise, including disciplinary write-ups.

Conducting teammeetings as needed to discuss operations, procedures and promotions. Conducting weeklyinventories. Controllingpayroll to meet company labor costs standards.

Controllinginventory to meet company GAP standards. Supportingmanagement team and General Manager in their operation decisions. Maintainingreports and records based on company standards and in full compliance withstate and federal regulations.

Maintain buildingand equipment via proper operating, cleaning and preventative maintenanceprocedures. Assumingresponsibility for cash for all shifts, including bank deposits and ensuringthat all cash procedures are properly followed. Ensuring allsanitation, safety and security policies and procedures are observed andenforced.

Ensure personalappearance always meets company standard and display professionalism. Recognize andadhere to all HR, sanitation, safety and security policies and procedures toprovide a safe and compliant environment for all. Performing othertasks as directed by management.

REQUIREMENTS: Stand for longperiods of time. Work around hightemperatures. Work around othersin close quarters.

Able to lift 50-75pounds comfortably. Work with variouscleaning products. EXPERIENCE: Valid driver'slicense.

Mustbe a minimum of 18 years old emancipated minor with documentation. Must be willing towork flexible hours, including opening and closing shifts. Must have reliabletransportation and method of communication with restaurant (i.e.

phone oremail). KNOWLEDGE,SKILLS AND ABILITY: Excellentcommunication, interpersonal and leadership skills. Ability tomaintain the respect of your team.

Customer drivenfocus. Ability toeffectively make decisions under pressure, while delegating tasksappropriately. Strong conflictresolution skills.

Excellentorganizational and prioritization skills. Ability to workwith others as a team. Ability to meetperformance standards.
