Major Areas of Responsibilities:
- Manufacture Corrugated Cartons.
- Responsible for the machine crews' daily activities, accountable for machine and crew performance as they relate to waste, efficiency, quality and uptime objectives.
- Must be team-oriented, organized, detailed, and able to perform some physical activities.
Required Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
- Corrugator or Converting machine experience(Flexo Folder Gluer, Rotary Die Cutter, and Specialty Folder Gluer).
- Proven track record of improving machine efficiencies in a production environment.
- Experience in corrugated packaging environments.
- Proven process control background.
- Computer literacy skills necessary.
- Demonstrated analytical experience.
- Experience with equipment operation and safety guidelines.
- Must be team-oriented, organized, detailed and able to perform some physical activities.
- Must be willing to work over-time and weekends when required.
- Must be able to add and subtract fractions with ease and read a ruler down to a sixteenth of an inch.
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to lift and push 50 lbs.
Education and Experience
- Previous (6 months or more) Machine Operator experience preferred.
- Applicant must successfully pass a pre-employment test, background investigation and drug screen to qualify for full-time employment.
