Assistant Housekeeping Manager

The Hampton Inn- Winfield/Teay's Valley is currently hiring an Assistant Housekeeping Manager, Full-Time, year-round. Pay: Based on experience

Job Requirements:

• Oversee the housekeeping team and inspect rooms
• Assist with scheduling
• Change bed linen, towels, and guest amenities as needed
• Cleaning bathrooms along with other guest rooms
• Must be able to make beds in minimal time with attention to detail
• Ability to properly display towels and in-room amenities for bathroom
• Vacuuming carpets and perform floor care duties
• Dust, polish, and remove marks from walls and furnishings
• Dispose of trash and recyclables
• Check that all appliances are present in the room and in working order
• Straighten desk items, furniture, and appliances
• Report maintenance items to Housekeeping Manager on Duty
• Properly tags lost and found items and turns them into management
• Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance
• Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, & stooping
• Stand or walk for an extended period of time
• Perform reasonable job duties as requested

Ideal Candidates:

• Supervisory Experience
• Hotel Housekeeping experience a must
• Adhere to safety at all times
• Reliable transportation to get to/from job
• Excellent attendance/punctuality
