Job Description:
This position is responsible for ensuring that team members are properly trained on procedures to operate and/or maintain machinery while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.
Train TM's to learn the safest practices, best production techniques and to understand quality control while interfacing with management on a regular basis.
Track new hires orientation time and submit to training specialist.
Coordinates training, trains and monitors trainees to assure quality of work and progression towards qualification.
Ensures adherence to procedures, regulations and guidelines while minimizing errors and safety risks
Tracks tardiness, absenteeism, and availability of trainees.
Observes behavior of trainees while performing job and responds to potential problems towards the qualification process and to ensure the safety of individuals.
Performs other duties and special projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
Trainer will have 8-13 trainees qualify at one time
Demonstrated organizational and problem-solving skills
Lift boxes or equipment up to 40 lbs
Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
Experience with Excel or ability to learn
High School Diploma or GED
The candidates needs to be able to read and understand training documents and upload documents into the training systems
