Hayfields is a private country club located in Hunt Valley MD. Its facilities include an 18 hole golf course as well as a banquet hall and outdoor areas for private functions. The property boasts many historic buildings that are landscaped to reflect a level of elegance that respects and enhances the architecture of a 150 plus year old buildings.
Responsibility:
To assist in providing sophisticated seasonal plantings around the golf course, wedding patio and other buildings. Use Mid Atlantic native plants and annuals for ongoing landscape improvements. Operate skid steer, tractor, backhoe, and two-cycle equipment. Work in conjunction with Audubon Society for certification in environmental stewardship on the golf course. Assist in the selection and procure plant material for annual display beds. Occasionally select large trees, shrubs, and hedges at the appropriate times of year. Maintain turf and bed irrigation systems around the clubhouse. Perform ongoing maintenance of shrubs, flower beds (weeding, mulching, fertilizing, and edging).
