Assistant Golf Professional

Position Overview

The position will assist the Head Golf Professional in all areas and management of the Golf Operation. This 8-month position will have a 5/6 day work week with ample time away from the Club to ensure a work-life balance.

• On-Site from March 15 to November 15 (5/6-day work schedule)
• $16-$17/hour with overtime
• $60/Hr. Adult Lesson Rate
• Junior Golf Program income

Essential Responsibilities

• Provide private golf instruction using V1 golf systems.
• Main contact and coach for Kishwaukee's active junior golf program
• Culminate a positive experience for all members and their guests while at the club.
• Assist in merchandising, special orders, tournament set-up and execution
• Conduct golf clinics and encourage new participants
• Maintain regular communication with Membership and Club Staff in the form of weekly emails and promotions regarding upcoming club events.
• Work closely with the outside golf operations employees to provide top tier service to all players.

Experience

• Experience as an Assistant Golf Professional at a similar facility
• Knowledge of Golf Genius Tournament Software and Microsoft Office preferred
• Four-year college degree is preferred, but not required.

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
