Job Summary:
We are seeking an Operational Manager to oversee the operations of our upscale, modern American restaurant. The Operational Manager will ensure that quality and service standards, financial performance, and team member development are achieved. Responsibilities:
- Estimate food and beverage costs and requisition or purchase supplies
- Confer with kitchen staff and other personnel to plan menus and cost food items
- Review financial transactions and monitor budget to ensure efficient operation, and to ensure expenditures stay within budget limitations
- Provide overall direction of Service Managers, Kitchen Managers and/or Executive Chef
- Provide knowledge and help develop skills for the managers and staff below him/her
- Drive sales by identifying local opportunities to increase sales and provide excellent guest service
- Hands-on with hiring, training, and developing hourly employees
- Various financial duties
- Oversee and supervise assigned area of responsibility
Requirements:
- Experience with HotSchedules, Compeat, and Paylocity
- Successful career track and stable work history
- 4+ years of proven success in a full service, fast paced restaurant environment
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including holidays
