Form of workAs the Assistant FSO, you will support the Facility Security Officer in day-to-day administrative functions, including processing security clearance requests, conducting internal background investigations and passing/receiving security clearances to various government agencies and contractor agencies. You will work directly with the internal operations staff as well as on and off-site contractors to ensure all incoming meeting attendees have appropriate clearance prior to arrival. This position requires exceptional attention to the smallest seeming of tasks, including filing, copying, and faxing; however, all have implications on the highest levels of our corporation and beyond. You will assist with facility related requirements on an as needed basis.
Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent with three (3) years of relevant experience.- Positive, problem-solving attitude and outgoing personality
- Demonstrated organizational skills and a strong commitment to quality customer service
- Qualified candidate must be able to obtain U.S. Government granted Top Secret Security Clearance
- Entry level position, ideally a recent college graduate
Possess a working knowledge of the following:
- Defense Information System for Security (DISS)
- National Industrial Security System (NISS)
- National Background Investigation Services (NBIS) eApplication (eApp)
- Current Top Secret Clearance verifiable in DISS.
- Secure Web Fingerprint Transmission (SWFT)
- Provide training for personnel and assist with government security inspections and audits.
