DESCRIPTION

The Closet Edit is looking for talented fashionistas that have a passion to help others feel their best.

We are obsessed with helping empower our clients by finding the perfect clothing choices that fit their life, body, and who they are.

This position allows is an assistant position that can turn into taking on clients after 3 months of training.

ASSISTANT RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE (starting immediately)

  • Helping with returns + exchanges

  • Filming content for Instagram

  • Helping create content on Canva

  • Creating blog content

STYLING RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE (after 3 months of training)

  • Listening to clients needs and create a style plan

  • Styling clients virtually and in-person

  • Going to clients homes to help them clean out their closet and take inventory of what they own

  • Find the right clothing that fits a clients’ personal style, life, and body

  • Put together 30 outfits with everything the client owns and what they purchase

  • Follow up with clients and make necessary appointments

  • Be able to quickly change style plan when clients are not satisfied

  • Generate new business by creating relationships with new clients

  • Ensure we meet our goal number of new clients per month

  • Foster authentic relationships with existing clients, acting as a key first point of contact when needed

  • Responding to email or texts in a timely manner

QUALIFICATIONS

  • GOOD AT COMMUNICATING - the number one piece of success in this role is communication between the team and with the clients.

  • Training + development is provided for this role, where you will work closely with the owner to learn the ropes and master our processes before taking on clients independently.

  • 1+ years styling, visual merchandising, or demonstrated styling experience required

  • Kind, flexible, passionate, and keenly detail oriented

  • Independent self-starter who always thinks “one step ahead”

  • Embraces growth and looking to build a fulfilling styling career

  • Excellent communication + organizational/time management skills

  • Ability to walk quickly with a lot of clothing through the stores

  • Access to a reliable vehicle, computer, and cell phone is required during working hours

  • Valid Drivers’ License and ability to drive frequently around Bellevue and Seattle

TRAINING

  • 5-10 hours a week of training

  • 3 Months of Training

  • Every month there will be checkpoints to see how you are doing and learning all the information

HOURS

  • You can set times, it’s flexible

  • Ideally have every other Saturday open and and evening a week, clients that work 9-5 need a stylist outside of work hours.

COMPENSATION + COMMISSION

  • During Training $22/hr

  • After Training $25/hr

  • 5+ Hours a week depending on clients and projects

  • Commission + Bonuses for upselling and reaching monthly goals
