Basic Function:
Assist the Head Equipment Manager in the operation of athletic equipment rooms. Reports to Head Equipment Manager or designated supervisor.

Examples of Duties:
Duties/essential functions may include, but not be limited to, the following:
Assist in daily operation of athletic equipment rooms; maintain, prepare, order, and issue uniforms and equipment.
Provide daily laundering of uniforms and towels.
Repair and recondition athletic equipment; monitor and maintain inventory.
Prepare and maintain records related to athletic equipment.
Assist in preparation of equipment, playing areas, and locker rooms for games and practices; accommodate visiting teams and officials.
May supervise students and/or provide functional guidance of support staff or other employees who work on a project or assignment on a temporary or intermittent basis.
Perform related duties as assigned.
Additional Examples of Duties – if applicable:
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in physical education or relevant field, and three months experience working with athletic equipment and inventory.

Five years of experience in physical education or relevant area which includes working with athletic equipment and inventory.
License/Certification:

Working Conditions / Physical Requirements:
Medium work - Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently to move objects. Incumbent must be able to communicate with others. Incumbent must be able to work evenings and weekends, and to travel on and off-campus.
