Assistant Dog Trainer

If so, we are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated individual to join our team as an Assistant Dog Trainer!

Responsibilities:

• Assist experienced Dog Trainers in conducting group classes and one-on-one training sessions.
• Provide support in managing and handling dogs during training sessions.
• Assist with administrative tasks, including organizing training materials and maintaining a clean training environment.
• Demonstrate a commitment to learning and understanding +R and balanced training methods.

• Engage with clients to provide assistance and answer basic questions.
• Exhibit a strong desire to eventually grow into a Dog Trainer role within our organization.

Qualifications:

• Passion for dogs and a desire to help them overcome behavioral challenges.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a team of experienced Dog Trainers.
• Eagerness to learn and grow within the field of dog training.
• No prior dog training experience required, but a willingness to develop expertise in the field is required.
• Flexibility to work weekends or evenings as needed.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
• Ability to lift and handle dogs of various sizes.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Pay: $17.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
