About This Job

We are currently seeking a full-time Assistant Dispensary Manager for our East Petersburg location. The Assistant Dispensary Manager role drives and inspires our storefront team, maintains strict inventory controls, and ensures regulatory compliance.

We are looking for high-energy, outgoing, compassionate candidates with a strong interest in the medical benefits of marijuana. Candidates should have experience in similar retail management roles, have sufficient product knowledge, and respond well to a fast-paced environment with several projects and essential tasks consistently arising daily.

What You'll Do...

  • Experience in a dynamic role that combines problem-solving, teamwork, technical skills, and customer service.
  • Responsible for reviewing, maintaining, and updating all Restore Dispensaries' SOPs and assuring that any changes are conveyed to employees.
  • Ensuring the most recent SOP versions are available for scheduled and unscheduled audits by the DOH and any other state organization.
  • Assist with overseeing and assessing all department employees to ensure compliance with Restore Dispensaries SOPs.
  • Responsible for overseeing cash management procedures followed to Restore Dispensaries' SOPs, including point of sale, opening and closing reporting, depositing, and reconciling cash.
  • Responsible for overseeing medication dispensing procedures to comply with DOH and State Regulations.
  • Responsible for connecting with managers in all departments to ensure the smooth operation of the store.
  • Ensuring reportable events are sent to the DOH promptly and proper recordkeeping occurs.
  • Ensuring proper management of pre-packaged inventory and inventory movement between the vault and dispensing floor. Overseeing and ensuring nightly audits & monthly audits are being conducted in alignment with all departments.
  • Must be able to lift, twist, turn, bend, stand and walk as required to perform the duties of an Assistant Dispensary Manager.

  • Flexibility in shifts that may include opening, closing, weekends, and holidays.
  • Bachelor's Degree in business or a related field
  • 2+ years' experience working in regulated medical marijuana.
  • Expert-level knowledge of medical marijuana products
  • 3+ years of responsible retail experience, including at least two years in management.
  • Excellent reporting skills
  • Experience in inventory management and reconciliation
