Assistant Director Of Rehab

The Assistant Director of Rehabilitation is responsible for assisting with all but not limited to internal departmental communication and operations, facilitating and coordinating patient care, quality assurance, census development, and marketing of Rehabilitation in his/her facility.

• Monitors the financial performance of the rehab department and effectively seeks methods to improve this performance while ensuring that the facility's standards are consistently observed.
• Contributes effectively to the census development/marketing efforts in coordination with the facility.
• Oversee onboarding of new therapists and assist in the hiring process.
• Oversee scheduling and demonstrate adherence and understanding of all requirements of the building and insurance
• Assist the Director of Rehab with all tasks needed
• Demonstrate concise oral and written communication skills with rehabilitation staff, facility staff, patients, and families
• Knowledge of HIPAA.
• Demonstrated skills with Microsoft Word and Excel.

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Certifications:

Valid certification as a CNA in the state of employment (preferred, but not required)

Experience:

Six months experience in a long-term care environment (preferred, but not required)
