Our client located outside of Pittsboro, North Carolina is seeking an Assistant Director of Imaging Services. The ideal candidate will have an Associate’s degree and be registered with ARRT. Responsibilities of the Assistant Director of Imaging Services:
- Responsible for the daily operations of the Imaging Department under supervision from the Department Director.
- Performs imaging procedures (general diagnostic, fluoroscopic and interventional procedures, operating room, and portable exams).
- Will actively function in CT and any of the following modalities in addition to general radiography (Mammography, Ultrasound, Nuclear Medicine, or MRI).
- Daily operational activities include but are not limited to functioning as systems super user, monitoring productivity and assisting with timekeeping (Kronos), charging and charge reconciliation, quality control and performance improvement, and student supervision.
Requirements of the Assistant Director of Imaging Services:
- ARRT Certification in Radiography – Required
- ARRT Certification in CT or meets JC Diagnostic Imaging Standards and NC Regulations 10A NCAC 15.0611 – CT Regulations Required
- Meets Certification Requirements for other modalities as required by regulatory agencies
- American Heart Association BLS – Required
- ARRT Advanced Certification in Nuclear Medicine or NMTCB Certification – Required if Nuclear Medicine is an additional modality
