FINANCE ASSISTANT DIRECTOR OPPORTUNITY
Our client is in search of an Assistant Director of Finance characterized by a commitment to excellence and an infectious enthusiasm for their work. The chosen candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping the guest experience through an exceptional understanding of the Resort and by embodying the Golden Rule in every interaction. Work authorization is a prerequisite.
RESPONSIBILITIES

• Foster positive and professional relationships with all departments and the Home Office
• Set an exemplary standard for business conduct and ethical principles, serving as a role model for others
• Supervise, train, and develop staff to ensure a comprehensive grasp of their duties and responsibilities
• Monitor, control, and document all hotel sales, purchases, and expenses
• Oversee month-end close, bank and balance sheet reconciliations, and the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial statements
• Uphold strict adherence to established internal controls and contribute to both internal and external audit processes
• Provide support to the Director of Finance and Senior Assistant Director of Finance, as required

• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
• Robust understanding of the month-end close process, encompassing financial statement preparation, accruals, journal entries, and bank and balance sheet reconciliations
• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Hospitality Management, or equivalent training, coupled with three to five years of related experience
• Successful candidates must possess legal work authorization in the United States
