Description

Duties and Qualifications
What you will do:
- Work under the direction of experienced Construction Superintendents to efficiently execute projects to meet project deadlines
- Assist in monitoring vendors and subcontractors in the execution of work
- Assess status of projects and complete reports with digital photographs as needed with details of progress
- Assess and interpret construction drawings relating to subcontractor activities
- Properly receive purchased materials
- Ensure adherence to safety standards
- Assess work to prepare change orders as required
- Assist Construction Superintendents responsible for QA and punch list generation with subcontractors
What we need:
- A working knowledge of construction and installation methods of finishes
- Ability to effectively use a computer and required software (Microsoft Office Suite)
- Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, structural and finish systems as well as building methodology
- Knowledgeable of OSHA and safety laws
- Knowledge of applicable federal, state and local building codes
- Knowledge of permitting, review and inspection process
- Ability to monitor and respond to multiple scopes of work occurring simultaneously
- Ability to identify scheduling challenges and work with staff toward possible solutions
- Ability to work independently and think critically to evaluate problems
- Effective and responsive verbal and written communication skills
