Job Description
To assist the head coach in all aspects of running the Cross Country and track program. A main focus of this position with be alumni outreach, social media content, recruiting research and organization and travel logistical coordinator.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree and at least 3- 5 years of collegiate coaching, or running at high level required.
Job Specific Qualifications
Keen understanding of the workings and lifestyle of a high level Cross Country program including experience with social media platforms and fundraising. This includes experience at the NCAA D1 Championship level, basic understanding of training pedagogy, technical excel spreadsheet experience.
Responsibilities
  • Development of team practices in conjunction with the head coach. Mentoring athletes, coordinating practice travel logistics.
  • All aspects of recruiting from identifying, contacting, evaluating recruits in addition to organizing recruiting unofficial and official logistics.
  • Produce social media content for recruits, alumni, students and public at large.
  • Assist with team logistical travel. This includes hotels, flights, itineraries, practices and meals.
  • Develop a platform and plan for alumni outreach. Expanding and making connections with alumni.
  • Other position related duties as assigned
