The Assistant Coach for Men’s Soccer assists the Head Coach in the planning and operation of the Men’s Soccer program at Cornell University. Responsibilities include assisting with team practice and competitions, and providing input on player evaluation and other decisions concerning team operations. In addition, the Assistant Coach actively supports the scouting of opponents and the breakdown of the teams performances, and has both on- and off-campus recruiting responsibilities, to identify, encourage and evaluate application and acceptance of student athletes at Cornell in accordance with the Ivy League, NCAA and University policies as assigned by the head coach.
This is a 10 months per year, full-time position. Starting salary range is $51,700-$55,650 for this position; final offer will depend on relevant experience, skills and qualifications. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree and up to 1 year relevant experience or equivalent combination.
- Proven success in coaching, recruiting, and working with student athletes.
- Knowledgeable of NCAA and Ivy League rules and regulations, and a strong commitment to rules compliance.
- Must be highly motivated with an outstanding work ethic and strong emotional intelligence.
- Experience coaching goalkeepers.
- Experience in and/or demonstrated commitment to supporting diversity, equity, access, inclusion, and wellbeing.
- Passionate about working in an organization that values and promotes diversity, equity, inclusion, anti-racism, and wellbeing.
- Ability to cultivate and develop inclusive and equitable working relationships with students, faculty, staff, and community members.
