Assistant Childcare Center Director

New Creations Child Care is expanding and is seeking a full-time Assistant Director at our Hugo location! Do you love being a part of a motivated, unified team who loves working with kids and amazing parents? This position is just for you!

As the Assistant Director, you will be responsible for the operation and instructional leadership of the center by working with the Classroom Teachers to bring about the best environment for the kiddos. You will be accountable for all operational aspects of the center and will ensure that all standards are maintained, and the positive development of the children is promoted. You are ultimately creating a partnership with the classroom staff so that our curriculum is grasped by the children and that they are learning and thriving!

Another fun part of the job is providing a positive presence for staff and working to build a rapport with the families, children and staff along with assisting in the classrooms when needed.

Additionally, you are:
*Experienced
*Highly motivated
*Has experience recruiting top talent, training, and managing staff
*Able to manage a budget set forth by New Creations
*Able to promote the center, provide tours and increase enrollment

Desired skills and experience as outlined below:

* Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education, Primary Education, or in a related field.

* 5 years of teaching experience with young children.

*One year of management or leadership experience

* Strong background in state licensing regulations, staffing, enrollment and budget management.

* Possess deep love for children and a strong commitment to building positive relationships with our families and the community.

* Reliable, strong character and values. Will serve as a role model for others in the center and embody the servant leadership philosophy.

* Provide excellent reference.

* Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $43,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
