We're looking for exceptional people to fuel and lead our amazing business practices as an Assistant Center Director. With our extensive paid training program, no prior experience in either education or in management is required, although it will be beneficial. Confidence and abilities in math up through at least Algebra 1 is required.
Assistant Center Director will be eligible for Paid Time Off every year, along with Health Insurance and 401(k) opportunities.
Position Summary:
Mathnasium Assistant Center Directors are passionate about helping students learn math and achieve educational success.
The ideal Assistant Center Director is ambitious, highly motivated, enthusiastic, warm, and caring. They have great leadership abilities that can inspire employees and build teamwork. As well as, great management abilities that improve efficiency and drive profitability.
Mathnasium Assistant Center Directors are capable of successfully managing the educational, customer service, administrative, enrollment, and employee management aspects required to run a Mathnasium Learning Center.
Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee day-to-day operations in the center to ensure exceptional student instruction and creating a fun and positive atmosphere
• Ensure exceptional customer service and satisfaction by developing relationships and regularly communicating with parents, guardians, and students
• Administer assessments and properly diagnose students learning gaps and develop learning plans
• Ensure that all teaching practices, which include individualized instruction in a group setting, are being followed
• Ensure excellence through all means of student instruction
• Help the Center Director manage onboarding of new families to create trust in the program, and get new students off to a great start
• Comfortably fill in for the Center Director when they are absent, working to ensure that the center can open and operate effectively
• Train, motivate and develop employees to effectively staff the center for maximum student engagement and efficiency
• Build trust with team members, establish effective manager-employee relationships, and nurture talent to fulfill center staffing needs
• Help create a fun, warm, and welcoming environment for our team of instructors
• Identify talent in team members and develop them professionally and personally
• Ensure the maintenance of a clean & professional learning environment

Qualifications:

• Proficient with computer use and software management
• Exceptional math competency through at least Algebra I
• Highly organized and able to balance various ongoing tasks
• Willingness to learn and be trained
• Welcoming and enthusiastic personality
• Open to both giving and receiving feedback

Preferred but not Required:

• Experience working with children
• Previous management or leadership experience
• Previous customer relationships & sales experience

Compensation: $30,000.00 - $36,000.00 per year
Mathnasium locations are independently owned and operated by franchisees of Mathnasium Center Licensing, LLC ("Mathnasium"). Franchisees are independent business people and not employed by Mathnasium. Thus, each franchisee and each franchisee center is unique and the franchisee is alone responsible for all employment matters in their center. If you are hired to work at a center, the franchisee will be your employer, not Mathnasium.
