Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Branch Manager to oversee our Twelve Mile branch. The Assistant Branch Manager will be responsible for helping to manage all aspects of branch operations, including member relationship management, team management, maintaining Service Excellence levels, and ensuring the branch meets its financial goals. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial services and leadership skills.
Responsibilities:
- Assisting in Managing day-to-day operations of the branch, including opening and closing procedures
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with members to ensure member satisfaction and retention
- Provide exceptional member service by resolving inquiries and issues in a timely manner
- Help to lead and motivate a team of employees to achieve sales targets and deliver Service Excellence to both internal and external members
- Work with the Branch Manager to monitor branch performance, make suggestions, and implement strategies to meet or exceed financial goals
- Ensure compliance with all banking regulations and internal policies
- Collaborate with other departments to drive business growth and improve operational efficiency
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, products, and services
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a leadership training program or role within the financial services industry
- Strong knowledge of banking products, services, policies, and procedures
- Excellent member relationship management skills
- Proficient in attention to detail for balancing a cash drawer, branch, or zero errors in shares and loan files
- Sales driven performance, proficient in meeting department goals and familiarity with debt protection, GAP, and Mechanical Repair Coverage is a preferred
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to effectively support the Branch Manager to manage a team and drive performance
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities

Expected hours: 38 – 40 per week

Experience:
- Supervisory: 1 year (Required)
- Financial Service Representative: 3 years (Required)
License/Certification:
- NMLS (Preferred)
- Certified Notary Public (Preferred)

- Warren, MI 48092: Relocate before starting work (Required)
