We are looking to hire an experienced Assistant Bakery Manager to support our managers supervise our baking staff and help manage all bakery operations. We look for our Assistant Bakery Managers to have baking or decorating skills. The Assistant Bakery Manager's responsibilities include:

• Baking or decorating 2-3 days a week.
• Managing operations on managers days off.
• Providing great customer service.
• Supporting our team in great food safety and sanitation standards.
• Helping train associates.
• Having and using good communication skills.

To be a successful Assistant Bakery Manager, you should demonstrate a quick ability to learn new skills as well as multitask assignments. Additionally you will love must possess a love for a fast-paced, retail environment and have a passion for quality.
Assistant Bakery Manager Responsibilities:

• Maintain company standards for freshness and quality.
• Support training OUR staff to produce high-quality bakery items. Remove while following proper food handling procedures.
• Maintain bakery operations to company safety and sanitation standards.
• Help maintain daily and holiday merchandising standards and assortment.
• Inspecting bakery items to ensure that established standards on quality, uniformity, and aesthetic appeal are met.
• Resolving customer complaints in a professional manner.

Assistant Bakery Manager Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Proven experience baking or cake decorating
• A food handler's license a plus.
• Sound knowledge of different baking techniques.
• The ability to work under pressure.
• Outstanding problem-solving skills.
• Good management skills.
• Effective communication skills.
• Exceptional customer service skills.

Salary Commensurate with Experience
Work requirements: 40 hours, up to 8 hours OT.
Flexible schedule
Weekends shifts are mandatory.
