Assistant Baker

We are a small, creative boutique wedding cake bakery located in Crozet, VA.

We're looking for someone to join our team on an entry level as a bakery assistant. Experience is not essential but a good work ethic and willingness to learn is! Please know this is a physical job that requires standing all day and some heavy lifting.

Tasks include food prep, putting away orders, making buttercream, cleaning, and dishes. There is lots of room for advancement according to aptitude and how quickly you learn. There is the opportunity to also bake cakes, pies and other desserts, learn to ice cakes and create decorating elements such as sugar flowers.

Ideal candidates would:

• Be available Tuesday-Friday from 9:30-5pm and possibly Saturday afternoons for deliveries.
• Have a willingness be an exceptional teammate and help with all tasks
• Be able to follow directions
• Be teachable!
• Have a valid driver's license and be comfortable driving.
• Experience is not essential we are happy to train. Some experience in a professional kitchen is helpful

Part-Time. Tuesday- Friday. Ending time will be different every day depending on the week’s orders, but should be around 4-5pm-ish. Saturday delivery hours are available also.
