Asset Protection Associate

Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Asset Protection Associate. As an Asset Protection Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of our company's assets. This position requires strong observational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to maintaining a safe environment for both employees and customers.

Duties:
- Conduct regular patrols of the premises to deter theft and vandalism
- Monitor CCTV cameras to identify any suspicious activity
- Respond promptly to any alarms or incidents on the premises
- Investigate and document any incidents of theft or misconduct
- Write detailed reports on all incidents, including descriptions of individuals involved and actions taken
- Collaborate with local law enforcement agencies when necessary
- Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize inventory shrinkage
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing any security concerns or questions

Skills:
- Strong report writing skills to accurately document incidents and investigations
- Proficient in conflict management techniques to handle difficult situations calmly and professionally
- Knowledge of loss prevention strategies and techniques to prevent theft and minimize inventory shrinkage
- Familiarity with criminal investigation procedures to gather evidence and build cases if necessary
- Experience working with CCTV systems to monitor and identify potential security threats
- Possession of relevant certifications in Asset Protection or related fields is preferred (e.g., Loss Prevention Foundation certification)
- Background in law enforcement or security is a plus
- Excellent surveillance skills to identify suspicious behavior or activities
