Piedmont Virginia Community College (PVCC) is a nonresidential two-year institution of higher education that serves Central Virginia - principally residents of the City of Charlottesville and the counties of Albemarle, Buckingham, Fluvanna, Greene, Louisa and Nelson. Our scenic campus is located in Albemarle County, Virginia. We are one of 23 community colleges in Virginia that comprise the Virginia Community College System (VCCS).
PVCC is seeking a part-time Assessment Specialist who will work with the Institutional Research department.
Hours: This is an in-person position. Monday through Friday, not to exceed 20 hours per week. Work hours and days are flexible at the discretion of the supervisor.

Job description:
- Assists in the development of assessment plans across the college.
- Assists with the collection and documentation of assessment data.
- Provides support to institutional and program accreditation efforts.
- Supports the PVCC Strategic Plan through the annual planning process.
- Assists the SACSCOC Liaison in preparing documents and reports for accreditation.
- Assists in the development and administration of surveys.
- Assists in the development of preparing survey reports.
- Assist in the documentation of faculty credentials and other materials required for accreditation.
- Other duties as assigned.

KSA's/Required Qualifications
- Experience in social sciences, education, or a related field.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbally
- Organizational skills

- Interested in community college administration, curriculum, assessment of academic programs, assessment of student affairs, and accreditation.
