Description
Overview:Assessment and Certification Architect designs and builds Assessment and Certification frameworks and structures according to fit-for-purpose requirements of specific measurement protocols to achieve translational and transactional excellence. The Architect serves in the Center for Global Assessment and Certification, one of the three centers in the Global Health Workforce Development Institute of CGFNS International.
Job Type: Full time, exempt
Location: Hybrid (Philadelphia office and remote work from home)
Requirements
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Reports to the Senior Director of the Center for Global Assessment and Certification and advances the triangulation of the three centers through the integrative portfolio of the Institute.
  • Provides content, administrative, analytic, artistic, and technical expertise to create transactional frameworks to capture the intent and content of Assessment and Certification products/services using design thinking.
  • Provides leadership in exploring and identifying teaching and learning opportunities to support innovation and strategic growth of the Institute and the enterprise.
  • Facilitates products/services and their invention, reinvention, and reengineering for specified life-cycle goals, current and future, to ensure leading-edge relevancies in the domestic and global marketplace.
  • Supports and/or leads internal and external teams and taskforces convened to achieve project objectives, utilizing a broad range of strategies, tools, styles, and dispositions.
  • Works directly with all teams across the enterprise to build an execution infrastructure, to enable the delivery of expertise and components, and to ensure project/product success as defined by timelines and terms of reference.
  • Serves as a liaison to the Project Management Office to ensure project and product delivery is well integrated and coordinated with other enterprise-wide projects along with the proper communication and translation of business requirements.
  • Leverages existing brain trusts and talents and brings in new content and perspectives in support of activities, current and future, across the Institute and the enterprise to yield desired outcomes.
  • Commits to thought leadership and scholarship to advance the vision, mission, and values of the Institute and those of the enterprise.

Qualifications and Experience:
  • Demonstrates the highest degree of professionalism in all contexts and environments, internal and external.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of psychometrics and leading trends in assessment, certification, and teaching and learning concepts and approaches.
  • Demonstrates the ability to apply technical design concepts to capture and present complex relationships in formats and styles accessible to a broad audience.
  • Demonstrates superb writing skills and poise in communicating with both internal and external constituencies. The position requires drafting of professional documents and speaking with broad and varied stakeholders and audiences, including regulatory authorities, institutions of higher education, and other end users, both nationally and internationally. Cultural sensitivity and respect for diversity in a global context are not only expected but required.
  • Demonstrates a high degree of people skills in all interactions in the conduct of work.
  • Commits to exemplary work ethics and achievements of results.
  • Be flexible and collaborative in an extremely fast-paced work environment with tight deadlines, change orders, and deliverables.
  • Resides in the Philadelphia metro-area preferred and in the United States required.

Education
  • Graduate education with a background in measurement science, teaching and learning theories, and research methods is required. PhD desired.
  • Healthcare industry specific knowledge and practical experience highly valued.

Physical Requirements:
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
  • Must be able to navigate various departments of the organization's physical premises.
