Assembly/Sheet Metal
Job Description:
Essential Job Duties and Functions:
- Military or aerospace industry experience with complex metallic or composite assemblies.
- Must follow work instruction and be accountable for work performed.
- Good oral and written communication skills required.
- Good eye-hand coordination.
- Basic inspection gauges.
- Use common hand and power tools.
- Understand and use simple drawings & sketches.
- Able to fit check and assemble detail parts.
- Able to identify and properly install fasteners and sealants.
- Perform any other incidental duties as may be needed.
- Must follow work instruction and be accountable for work performed.
Physical Requirements:
May be required to push, pull, lift, and/or carry up to 50lbs. Work involves extended periods of sitting and standing.
Work Environment:
The work environment is generally favorable. Lighting and temperature are adequate, and there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc. Work is generally performed within the prep area of the processing building.
Education/Experience:
High school diplomas/GED required
Experience in honing, detail machining, blueprint reading, and aircraft assembly methods is helpful.
