POSITION SUMMARY:
This is a full-time hourly position. Individual must be comfortable working hands-on with electronic/mechanical assemblies such as computers, kiosks, cameras and associated peripheral devices. Primary duties include: assembly, testing, trouble-shooting, repairing, processing of RMA’s along with other duties as assigned.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND DUTIES:
- Perform a variety of skilled and technical duties related to the assemble and testing of cameras, kiosk assemblies, cabinet housings, mobile equipment among other devices with a precise attention to detail
- Trouble-shoot, repair and process RMA’s directly with the end customer
- Source repair parts online
- Download software files and images and re-install these items on other devices
- Report to Operations Management on status of any equipment breakdowns
- Perform preventative maintenance on computer equipment
- Identify creative ways to reduce cost by streamlining processes and systems
- Produce Excel and Word-based reports
- Perform general administration tasks as necessary
REQUIREMENTS:
- Electronic Technician Associate Degree or Electrician Certification
- Ability to read and understand wiring schematics
- Basic IT skills (creation of directories, downloading/installing files, MS Office, etc.).
- Self-starter with excellent organizational skills
- Ability to effectively communicate verbally and written with operations team, sales team, customers, vendors; read and interpret professional materials
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff, suppliers and customers.
- The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and lift up to 50 pounds.
